The long haul pro life activist and apparently opinionated radio talk show host Bob Enyart let me in behind the scenes yesterday. I was there visiting Will Duffy who I have just recently met as a result of learning more about the pro life residential picketing campaign against the Weitz Company who is building a Planned Parenthood Facility in Denver near the old Stapleton Airport Site.
I found Bob to be quite a likeable and polite individual. He asked me to do a couple a simple tasks as he was preparing for a protest at the Romney rally at Freeway Ford in Denver. The cozy little building that houses Bob Enyart Live was busy with the tasks of paying bills and preparing for the daily radio broadcast. As Will and others were making signs, Bob was putting together a press kit. He moved graciously from task to task offering suggestions and orchestrating the progress in a cheerful and light hearted fashion.
Apparently he has learned a few things about getting along with people and bringing people together into a coalition of campaigners.
At some point heads were counted up and plans were being made to determine who goes and who stays to deal with the impending radio broadcast.
I realized at that point I couldn't refuse the offer to attend the protest. As I drove over to Freeway Ford I knew that my health could ultimately become a problem but I was a little overwhelmed by the dedication of this family of Pro Life Activists so I pushed through the pain a little and I continued on.
In the end, I had to terminate my participation early but my newly found acquaintances seemed to accept my early departure well.
As I traveled home, I knew that my participation was insignificant as compared to the pro life activism that surrounded me at this small protest.
During the entirety of the protest I never took my eyes off of the crowd. I was ever vigilant of the the people that were looking our direction. And as they moved towards us my eyes looked hard as if to penetrate their inner soul trying to determine what foul intentions they had with regard to us. Mean while the protest went on, the chanting had a dominating effect on the crowd. I suspect that the people on the outside of the building had trouble hearing the presidential candidate due to the rhythmic din of the pro life chanting.
In the end, it's hard to tell whose message was the most penetrating and effective. Was it the presidential candidate that most people didn't even see until they returned home to see him in their news papers, or the "catholic conservative" that supports Mitt Romney.
In any event, Bob and Will, both second generation pro life activists, were there making their voice heard. The voice of the unborn child.
You can catch Bob's show at 3:00 PM week days on KLTT AM 670 or at http://kltt.org/

Exactly. And Enyart's ability to refute and dismantal dozens of different cults is exceptional, to say the least. Tune in to his radio show, and you might hear examples of this. Especially tearing down the legalistic pseudo-Christian cults that prey on so many people, controlling their lives and getting fat and happy off of their hard-earned paychecks. Thank God for apologetic warriors like Bob.

First, I need to say I also just realized I misspoke earlier on one particular detail, because I haven't discussed this issue in a long time -- Bob was dating the boy's mother at the time, and SHE asked him to give that spanking to her boy. HER ex is the cop who got mad. The son Stephen called his cop dad, who then flew off the handle. I respect the police greatly - a former pastor of mine is SWAT in Jeffco - but in this case, the cop used his job title as influence in the case. The son, naturally being upset at being punished with a spanking, called his mom's cop ex-husband, and he flew off the handle and sent police and paramedics to the house, to try to nail Bob. No one in Bob's house called the paramedics. Cheryl to this day supports what Bob did. Someone who hates Bob - for personal reasons, not even political - called them.

Here I went and removed my original response since Ian did first, and now you try to start something all over again? Yes, he was convicted of SPANKING his child WITHOUT ANY INJURY according to the paramedics who were summoned to the scene of his home, according to the paperwork they filed. Bob's ex-wife's new husband was a cop who railroaded Bob after the son called his mom. His ex's vindictive cop husband convinced the judge. Big deal - it gave Bob the opportunity to have a 2-month government-sponsored "prison ministry" during which he led several inmates to the Lord, including a child molestor - a REAL child abuser. Bob was guilty of nothing more than spanking his son normally, leaving no injuries, whatsoever. I love how liberals will loudly demanding the release of cop-killers like Mumia, but some guys is convicted for spanking his son without injuring him at all, and oh my gosh, he's a monster.

Ah, I see "Ian" (or someone else) removed his slanderous post about Bob, claiming he is a child-abuser. Thanks. I've known Bob for years, and he is a vociferous defender of children. Further, he advocates severe punishment for anyone who abuses children. Amen to that!

Great story James , I wish I could have gone to Freeway Ford myself. Bob Enyart in my experience is likeable and polite as you state,he is also as strong and resilient as spring sreel.
