We were the victims of a January 22, 2009 Lakewood home burglary. Many items were taken; however, the most important item that is missing is a small (150 lb.) Sentry fire safe containing a collection of family memories (death certificates, family tree, etc.) and the treasured keepsakes of our only daughter's lifetime achievements. Basically that safe contained the record of our daughter's life...every school photograph, every award earned, national honor society certificates, a collection of her high school newspapers published under her editorial leadership, college transcripts, diplomas, memories of her Washington D.C. internship with a Colorado Senator; etc., etc. These items are nothing of value to the burglars or anyone else, but they mean the world to us.
