Three roving DUI sobriety checkpoints planned for Saturday, June 25
Law enforcement agencies across the state are cracking down on drunk drivers this summer season as part of the DUI Checkpoint Colorado
program.
In Jefferson County on Saturday, June 25, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Lakewood, Golden, Mountain View and Colorado School of Mines Police Departments, along with the Colorado State Patrol, will conduct three roving sobriety checkpoints, meaning the DUI checkpoint will move to three different locations throughout the evening.
This is the second set of roving checkpoints for Jefferson County Sheriff's Office this summer. As a result of the last set of checkpoints conducted on Friday, June 10, 13 arrests were made. Approximately 120 sobriety checkpoints total are planned for the summer - 20 more than took place last summer.

From 6th Avenue, turn onto Jefferson County Parkway/West 10th Avenue. Pass through one roundabout. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is located at 200 Jefferson County Parkway.
