Thank you, citizens of Lakewood

Dear Friends:

We did it! Very few gave us a chance, especially with a three-way race, but we came out on top! I want to thank you for your support and hard work; please know that this victory is a reflection of you and your belief in my leadership. I believe the citizens made the right choice; they picked a candidate that will bring positive leadership to the city. You were instrumental in helping to sway these choices. So thank you for leading the way and believing in me and the new era of Lakewood politics.

When we first announced our candidacy, we set the bar very high for what we wanted to accomplish and along with victory, these goals were met. Thanks to you we were able to raise funds and develop an incredible network of volunteers and advisors to help spread the word. My success is a reflection of your successes, and for that, I am truly grateful.

As we began the campaign, it was my hope to address the concerns associated with many of the new projects in Lakewood, and as I walked the neighborhoods these concerns were consistently echoed. It is now time to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I want to ensure that the future vision of Lakewood is something that all sides embrace and that the vision includes the successful completion of the projects the city has already undertaken.

In closing, I want to tell you how truly blessed I am to have so many people who shared time and money to help make this campaign a success. I would also like to thank my formidable opponents. Thank you very much!
