Table Mountain Animal Center's pets of the week
Contributed by: Ben Drotar on 10/17/2006

Stella, ID No. 36323, is a 4 to 5 year old Great Pyrenees and weighs between 75 and 80 pounds. Don't let her size scare you away. She is gentle and gets along with all dogs. She probably is pretty friendly with cats as well. Stella currently is in foster care and lives with two other dogs. She was surrendered by her family because they weren't able to take care of her due to her size.

Even though she's big, she has a very sweet personality. She is not terribly energetic, but does need exercise. She walks well on a leash and know basic commands. If you would like to come meet Stella, please call Table Mountain Animal Center and make an appointment.

Andretti, ID No. 36273, is a 3-year-old male cat and came to the shelter as a stray so not much is known about his background. He in search of a permanent home as an indoors-only pet.

He is a handsome, friendly fellow and would love to purr on your lap. His adoption fee is $35 for a limited time and includes his neuter, microchip, free vet visit and some vaccinations, rabies excluded.

For information on these or other pets, contact Table Mountain Animal Shelter, 4105 Youngfield Service Road, Golden, at 303-278-7575 or visit www.tablemountainanimals.org.
