Meet dogs, folks with Misha May at Petco Saturday

This Saturday, June 13, adoptable dogs and puppies available through Lakewood's Misha May Foundation, will be at Lakewood's Petco from noon to 4 p.m. The pet supply store is located at 475. S. Wadsworth, across from Belmar's Whole Foods.

Throughout the summer, the dog rescue will be at the Lakewood Petco on the second Saturday of each month and at the Belmar Farmer's Market on the first Sunday.

Misha May specializes in mutts, and accepts any dogs who have run out-of-time at local shelters or who have specific medical and behavior needs.

Because Misha May is careful about adoptions to make the right match for its dogs, there are no on-the-spot adoptions. The rescue needs time to check references, fences, and more.
