I'm Star ~ The MaxFund Dog of the Week!
Contributed by: C Bushnell on 9/26/2006

Hi!

My name is Star. Aren't I striking?? I am a 4 year old female Dalmation Mix. My human daddy had to move to an apartment and couldn't take me with him! That's too bad because I really am a fabulous little dog! I love kids and other dogs, and maybe even CATS! Playing ball, going for walks/runs, and wrestling with a Kong toy are some of my favorite hobbies.

Of course I'm house-broken, house-trained, and as sweet as sugar! Come meet me and maybe I could be the Star of your family!!

Please come see me at the MaxFund, 1025 Galapago Street, Denver, CO 80204, 303-595-4917. I am in the Windows Room. It costs $75 to adopt me, and that includes current shots except rabies. This also includes my being chipped, and I am already spayed.

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
