If you are a horse owner who wants to educate yourself on all
facets of ownership and you're interested in affordable classes,
the Jefferson County Horse Council has a series of classes for
you.
The horse council has teamed up with the Colorado State
University Cooperative Extension to offer a series of affordable
classes for adults and youth called the Horse Sense Seminar
Series.
The series of classes will be held on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m.
starting April 6 and continuing through May 25. Classes are held at
the CSU Extension Center Meeting Room on the Jefferson County
Fairgrounds, 15200 W. 6th Ave. inGolden. The cost for the classes
is $10 for Jefferson County Horse Council members, 4-H parents and
leaders; $15 for nonmembers and youth under 18 are free. Pay at the
door with cash or check.
