Small works are created for a reason and suggest a different message. There's an intimacy to peering into a smaller subject, a motive to get close. They can communicate responsiveness and require an interaction that is purposeful. From the beauty of a 4x5 contact print to the quaintness of a Polaroid, there's a variety of reasons to work small and we want to see it. Why do you make small art?
WWA would like to invite makers of small photo art to submit for our upcoming exhibit WEE! We are excited to see what the artistic community portrays in a variety of small ways.
