Love in baseball
Contributed by: Amy Sumner on 8/30/2007

My story is a little different as I have found love with someone I can not say in enough ways that I love him more every day.

I met Clyde at a conference in Boston and we started out as friends. As we e-mailed each other every day for about a month it changed to phone calls. We decided to go on vacation together in Arizona for the Spring Training.

Clyde and I had a wonderful week together our friendship went one step further. I had the hardest time leaving him at the end of the week. It was at that time we decided we would take our relationship one step further. For two months I was seperated from Clyde and made the choice to move here to Denver to be with him.

Clyde has asked me various times to marry him I have never given him an answer. It would be wonderful to win a suite with friends and family around as I then could ask him to marry me giving him his answer. The best would be if it was for the game with Arizona. This is where we first started our relationship and since then we have attended various games.

What would be more exciting to have someone you love to see on the board a marriage proposal, in front of his friends and family at a sport we both love. My entry would be for the Arizona game I do hope that this is considered for the suite. Thank-you for your time. Amy Sumner
