Memories of Bears still alive in the Rockies

I never knew much about baseball, growing up in Broncoland. All I was sure of was that if I got straight A's in school, I could get tickets for my dad and me to see the Denver Bears for free! So every year, I would bring home the order form to pick which game we would go to, and I always wanted to go to a double header. I didn't know what that meant, I just knew it meant my dad and I would have a longer time together.
Fast forward to the move to get major league in Denver. I am older and wiser. I signed petitions, wore t-shirts. It all worked. Major league BB came to CO. Sadly, my dad did not live to see a major league game played in Denver. (He probably wouldn't have rolled his eyes at my straight A's anymore) However, my mom, 83 years young, watches every game, posts every score on her fridge, and generally keeps me informed if I miss an inning. I would love to take my mom and friends to a game in a suite. She is unable to walk for any distance, or up and down stairs, but a suite would be incredible for her. She has never been to a Rockies game, but is one of the most avid fans I know. I would love to do that for her. After all, I always took my dad, so now it's mom's turn!
