Go Rocks!!!
Contributed by: Matt Toepfer on 4/10/2008

I was born and raised in what I believe is the best place on the planet...Colorado!! I was lucky enough to grow up in a neighborhood with other kids my age that shared the same interests, especially sports. It was thelate 80's and we all embraced every major professional team Colorado had to call their own, which was the Broncos and Nuggets at the time.We loved baseball but had to either watch it on TV or go see the Denver Zephyrs, a minor league team that played at old Mile High. Our parents would take turns taking us,4 preteen boys, to Zephyr games, which I'm sure was quite a chore. In 1993 when we finally got a Big League team we were all ecstatic. All of us from the old neighborhood still live in the Denver area and have remained close friends, serving as groomsmen in each others weddings and supporting each other as we build families of our own,and have juggled schedules to attend at least one Rockies game together every season since '93.Packing up kids and buying tickets for everyone has helped us realize it was no small task for our parents getting us to a ballgame as a group, but we know its worth it,for us and our kids.Colorado is an awesome state for so many reasons every season, but nothing beats summer time at Coors Field watching the Rockies with friends and family,I can only imagine having a suite all to ourselves, that would be an awesome experience!
