I remember vividly the crack of Eric Young's bat at Mile High Stadium. What a beginning for an amazing franchise. I remember how excited my family and friends were to have a professional baseball team in Denver. I was six years old, and Id reamed that one day I would be wearing purple and trotting around the bases. I would high five Vinny Castilla, Dante Bichette, Andres Gallaraga, and Larry Walker after a long home run. That dream has not exactly come true, but my passion for Rockies baseball is still as strong.I love getting together with friends from my childhood and with my dad and my brother's to watch a Rockies game. If there is one common thread in our family it is a love for the Rockies franchise. As a diehard fan we have gone through some tough years, until a miraculous pennant run last year. But, the most important part about Rockies baseball for me is not their play on the field. I look forward to enjoying a sunset in the upper reserved seats at Coors Field. I love to get rowdy in the Rockpile with strangers who have one thing in common, bleeding purple. I love watching my friend's try to mimic Ryan Spilborgh's latest facial hair style.I love seeing a player that is brought up through the Colorado Rockies minor league system perform well in the Major leagues. I absolutely love Hebrew National one dollar hot dog night at Coors field. As you can see, there is a lot more than just wins and losses when it comes to Rockies baseball. I would love to be able to watch a Rockies game from a suite, where I wouldn't need binoculars. But, this contest would be more than just a chance to watch a game. This would be an opportunity to create life long memories with my family and friend's. Plus, my little brother would have a chance to see Chris Iannetta up close. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Miles Johnson
