Bands make their mark

Congratulations to the Jeffco High School marching bands that qualified to compete in the final round of the 2009 state marching band championships. In the 5A competition, Lakewoodfinished 7th. In the 4A contest, Pomona placed 3rd, Dakota Ridge 7th and Green Mountain 8th. Chatfield, Bear Creek, Arvada West, Ralston Valley, Conifer, Wheat Ridgeand Columbinealso marched in the state competition.
