So far this session Senate Roll Call Votes are down 32.5 percent and 65.9 percent of the Roll Call votes occur between the hours of 11:00 AM on Thursday to 2:00 AM on Friday. Just to look at what our senators do in another way, there have been no Roll Call votes between 2 AM on Friday to 4:00 PM on Monday afternoon. It looks like they'll do pretty much anything to have a long weekend.

And Gold ole John McCain is back up to his hold tricks. He regularly misses almost 60% of the votes in the Senate. Even more than Barack and Hillary who are still running for their party's nomination. I guess old heroes need a lot of sleep. I hope he gets lots of sleep after the presidential election.
