Growing the game of golf with our troops in Iraq
Contributed by: Rhetta Shead on 5/6/2008

Staff at The Homestead Golf Course, in the city of Lakewood, worked together to collect golf equipment to send to our troops in Iraq. Sonny Williams and Marie Hensick located Capt. James Pollack, stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq and arranged for his squad to be the recipient of this amazing gift.

Ike Spelts and other Homestead employees contributed to the effort through donations and assisted in acquiring equipment. The package includes, clubs, balls, nets and mats.

We look forward to hearing from Capt. Pollack when he and his Troops receive this special package.
