Colorado Christian University's 6'11" freshman center Justin Neuhaus (San Marcos, TX) had every reason in the world to be a little nervous. He was not only competing in his first game ever as a college athlete, his Cougars were opening the season on an unfamiliar court against an NCAA Division I opponent.
This past Wednesday versus the Denver University Pioneers, the Texas native shook off his apprehensions and stood tall. In only 22 minutes of action, Neuhaus grabbed 9 rebounds and scored 14 points on a perfect 7-7 shooting display. Coming out of half-time, Justin scored the Cougars first six points, including back-to-back dunks over a stout Pioneer defense.
The sky is the limit for this standout freshman, who is just beginning to prove that he has the size and skill necessary to become a house hold name to local college hoop fans.
