Broncos Players vs. LHS, and the winner is?

On March 10th, the Denver Bronco Players played in a basketball game against the LHS All-Stars. The visiting Bronco players were Tyrone Braxton, Ron Egloff, Howard Griffith, Dave Diaz Infante, Mark Jackson and Billy Thompson. LHS All-Stars representatives were Louie Schwab (patron player), Donny Nelson and London Redwine (LHS Seniors), Dutch Smith (LHS faculty), Matt Kratsl, Michael Alexander, Terry Muilenburg, Shelby Kinner, Josh Wickler, Michael Kallander, Nick Kemmer and Chris Hooper; coached by Ray Baker, the trainer was Nicole. The game Referees were Clint Cator, Tim Seldman and Justin Dohrman.

Channel 9 News Anchor Kim Christiansen and Reporter Adam Schrager, were the emcees. Entertainment for the evening included the LHS Cheerleaders, The Jumping Eagles, The Elementary Cup Stackers, area school mascots and Texas Road House Andy Armadillo; with special appearance by " Rocky."

During the game when a foul shot was to be made the players would bring out a child from the crowd to make the shot. At half time the Bronco Players were signing autographs for the large crowd. The game ended in a tie and the winner was finally decided by a shootout from the 3 point line. The Final Score was Broncos - 49 and LHS - 46. What a Game!!!!

LHS would like to thank everyonefor attending the gameand contributing towardsthe After PromPartyplus dealing with the school's construction. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped with the game, the Lakewood Police Dept., LPD Explorersand our advertising sponsors; without them this game wouldn't be such a success. Thanks also to Bethel Bible Church and Good Shephard Churchfor parking. Special food vendor Qdoba Mexican Grill Lakewood was a very generous donator.
