Twelve-year-old
Brittany Tucker
, of Lakewood, got the thrill of a lifetime on April 25 when she walked to class on the arm of Denver Bronco safety
John Lynch
.
Brittany, a sixth grader at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Denver, won a school visit from Lynch as part of the grand prize in the King Soopers/City Market "Bring a Bronco to Class" sweepstakes sponsored by the Western Dairy Farmers Promotion Association and the Western Dairy Council. Brittany's aunt,
Marie Tucker
, also of Lakewood, entered her in the contest after spotting an ad in the Sunday paper.
Lynch addressed the entire school (kindergartners through eighth grade) in a school assembly after which he signed autographs and then walked Brittany back to class. Lynch brought Bronco mascot
Miles
with him, who also took time to greet the students. Brittany would have been excited for any Bronco player to have come to her school, but having John Lynch, her favorite player, was especially exciting.
The grand prize package also included four Bronco club-level tickets and pregame sideline passes to the Broncos-Baltimore Raven game on Dec. 11. Brittany had never been to a Broncos game and neither had herthree cousins who accompanied her to the game, so it was extra special for all of them, particularly since the Broncos beat the Ravens.
What surprised Brittany the most was how big the players are and how hard they hit. Going to the game and being treated so special and then having her favorite Bronco player come to her school is something Brittany will never forget.

How exciting for Brittany to win such an honor! Congratulations and sounds like she and the rest of the school (and John Lynch) had a great time!
