CCU's Kaiser earns RMAC Pitcher of the Week

Andrew Kaiser, CCU's senior ace out of Broomfield, was selected April 22 as the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

Kaiser was untouchable this past weekend, leading the Cougars to a 1-0 victory over the nation's ninth ranked Metro State Roadrunners.

In the shutout, Kaiser gave up only five hits, while striking out 10 batters in nine innings of work.

Kaiser improves to 6-4 on the season, and ranks second in the RMAC with a 3.27 earned run average.
