High Altitude Wheelchair Basketball in Lakewood
Contributed by: Stuart Klugler on 12/23/2006

( Please note the change in schedule. Tourney starts on Saturday, January 27, 2007.)

The 4 top North American Teams will compete in an upcoming wheelchair basketball tournament January 27-28, 2007. The teams include the Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, Vancouver (BC), and your Denver Rolling Nuggets. These teams average in the 90's, so 3 pointers will be flying!

The games are free of charge. Fans will also be privy to t-shirts, shooting contests, and pizza give aways. The Colorado Christian University Field House in Lakewood (just off of Alameda and Garrison) will be the site for some great hoops action.

Mark your BRAND NEW 2007 CALENDAR with the following dates and times:

Saturday January 27th 8AM British Columbia vs. Dallas
10AM Denver takes on the Bucs - There will be some Elk shooting!
2PM BC vs. Milwaukee
4PM Battle of the D's: Dallas vs. Denver

Sunday, January 28th 9AM Dallas vs. Milwaukee
11AM - Denver takes on the Royal Mounties.
