Locals prove they're red-hot in horseshoe pitching


MILLIKEN -- The Chili Peppers, made up of Rich Pintor of Idledale, Dan Martinez of Ault, Rich Pintor Jr. of Lakewood and Robert Pintor of Colorado Springs took first in the 2006 Team Colorado Horseshoe Tournament April 8 with 60 points.

Sheila Shepard of Westminster had the most consecutive ringers with 20.
