This day Tuesday, Oct. 6 was special day for the Girls Varsity Softball Team, it was a first and a last. Lynn Torr the Athletic Director had his people working overtime to make the first possible. The first being a game being played on this field. Since the school opened this year there has been things still under construction at this new "Cave" for the "Bears". The softball field is just one of many things. As I hear it the girls pleaded to let them play their Senior Day game and the last home game on the field. Lynn came through for the girls and was they elated, that feeling soon diminished losing their game to Standley Lake 7-2. There are more senior girls on this team than in many previous years, they were all introduced along with their parents and were given flowers and gift bags, in honor of Senior Day.
