Lakewood Girls Win Jeffco 5A Conference Title

The Lakewood High School Girls Basketball team has won the Jeffco 5A Conference Title. They finished their regular season with a 9 - 1 conference record and 19-4 overall. The team received one of the top #1 seeds in the CHSAA tournament which began February 28.

This is the first time Lakewood has won the Girls Basketball title since 1990.

The team will face off against Doherty High School from Colorado Springs at 7 p.m. March 1 at Lakewood High School, 9700 W. 8th Ave.
