Lakewood Lady Tigers Basketball going to Sweet 16

The Lakewood Lady Tigers Basketball team is going to the Sweet 16 round of the state play-offs, again! For the second year in a row, the team earned a bye for the first round of play, and entered the play-off season in the second round. Last Saturday night, March 1st., they beat the Doherty High School Spartans 62 - 58, moving them into the next game against Montbello on Thursday night, March 6th.,at 6:00 PM in the Lockridge Arena on The Colorado School of Mines campus in Golden. The winner of this game will advance to the Great Eight, to be played at The Denver Coliseum.
