Wednesday 3/12/08 the Chatfield Lady Chargers came to play soccer against the Lady Bears of Bear Creek and play they did. The Junior Varsity game was dominated by the Chargers winning it 6-0. It was a cold evening game and the Bears hearts were probably matching the temperature by games end. They have the ability but lack cohesiveness that should come in the next few weeks of the season.

The Varsity Lady Bears had a soccer match against the ladies from St. Mary's Academy on Friday 3/14/08. This was a true battle throughout, the game was mostly played in mid-field and went scoreless for most of the game and the way these tow played each other you would think they were archrivals. The temperature was very cold and the only score came late in the game and it was made by the ladies of St. Mary's, final score 1-0. This was an out of league game but if it was suppose to be a tune up it sure didn't look like it, the Lady Bears Varsity looked polished and executed there game flawlessly. They should have a great season if they continue to play as they did this evening.
