Bears and Tigers tangle at soccer game
Contributed by: David Harvey on 3/23/2008

On a blustery Thursday March 20, the Junior Varsity squads met at Carmody Junior High for a soccer match. At the start of the game the weather was nice but by games end it was chilly, matching the girls spirits from Lakewood they had lost their game to Bear Creek 2-1. The two battled back and forth in the mid field during most of the game and were very evenly matched and coached. As supporters sat wrapped in blankets and anything else to keep warm, the girls gave a good game to watch.

Then on Friday night the Varsity from Bear Creek and Lakewood met and it was another game that kept fans excited and filled with excitement. The evening was cold but the play wasn't these two teams kept the action hot and heavy. They ran hard and fast on each other. Lakewood came away with the victory 2-1.
