No Aprils Fool the Varsity soccer girls of Bear Creek got "Rammed" by Green Mountain High on Monday 4/1/08. The Green Mountain "Rams" had and kept total control over the "Bears" of Bear Creek. The ball handling skills of the Lady Rams is precise and anticipatory. The Green Mountain team could anticipate where they needed to be for most plays, where the Bear Creek girls seemed to be playing a catch up at all times. The "Bears" have a very young team relying on freshman as their strong forwards and sophomores many other positions. There are few experienced players or upper class athletes, thus their struggle with many of their opponents. They have budding talent and will probably have a bright future in the years to come, but for this year it would appear it to be a building year.
