On Saturday April 4th, 24 members and guests competed in the second annual Homestead Introduction Tournament hosted by The Homestead Men's Golf Club in Lakewood.Contestants competed for prizes in various contests including lowest gross and net scores, most greens hit in regulation and lowest number of putts during the round.

The primary purpose of this tournament was to give men 18 years old and above an opportunity to experience the thrill of tournament golf and to introduce people to the nationally recognized Homestead Golf Course. It was also an excellent opportunity for returning members to "knock the rust off" after a long winter.

Homestead Men's Golf Club hosts many tournaments throughout year offering a wide variety of formats including, Match Play, Individual Net, Skins among others. Homestead has had a large increase in new memberships this year but the club is still accepting applications for a few remaining openings.
