My blog:
www.ScrappinCabinet.com
Home:
Lakewood (We’ve lived here since 1990 and I am a Colorado native who grew up in Tabernash.)
Occupation:
I work with authors and publishers helping them to market their books.
How long have you been a blogger?
With this blog since June 2005. I have another blog that is sidelined at the moment that I started in May 2004.
How often do you update your blog?
I get at least 3-5 posts up a week. My goal is to get to 1000 posts. This week I will hit the 100 mark!
Describe your blog:
My blog is all about scrapbooking, which is my favorite hobby. I write about projects I’ve worked on, scrapbooking products, ideas for albums, themes, places I’ve found to get supplies. Really, anything about scrapbooking.
Why did you start your blog?
I love the Internet and love scrapbooking. My blog seemed like the perfect blend of the two concepts. I also love the idea of being connected with other scrapbookers around the country. I’ve even had comments from visitors from England.
What have you gained from the experience?
Even when I don’t have time to sit down and actually scrapbook I get to spend time on my hobby. I have made online scrapper friends whom I cherish. I think it is fun to tell my family and friends I am a blogger.
What has been your favorite blog post so far?
Wow. Good question. On September 15, 2005 my post was “Dynamic Women Bloggers I Admire.” I really liked that post because I got to recognize three of my favorite other women bloggers. That was fun. (If you want to see the post you can search for “Dynamic Women Bloggers” on Google and my page will come up.)
How long do you see yourself continuing to blog?
Unless blogs go the way of 8 track tapes and Beta videos, forever. I love doing it. It is a part of who I am now and, like reading a good book, is something I can’t see myself ever giving up.
