An Unforgettable Trip

By

Brian Metz

About three years ago during spring break my dad, step mom, and I went to Jamaica. It was an eight hour flight to get there but they fed us on the plane, and the food it wasn't too bad. We had some huge cheese burgers and fries, and when I finished my meal I got a bad case of the itis. The itis is when you get done with a big meal and you pass out right afterwards. I slept until we were about to land in Jamaica. Now Jamaica's airports are completely different compared to the airports in the U.S. because the entire airport is really dirty and I guessed that it hadn't been cleaned at all for a couple weeks at least.

Once we got to our four star hotel, I passed out. In the morning the hotel had a huge breakfast buffet, I was so full after that. After finding out the hotel was right on the beach, we went scuba diving for a while. There were a lot of colorful fish and stuff that we had seen while diving. Afterwards, we got on a greyhound bus and took a tour around the town. We went to a lot of stores around town and the sweet thing was if you didn't have the money for whatever you saw that you liked, you could barter with the store owners until you worked out a deal. We were in Jamaica for about at week and a half and the last couple days we checked out Ochorios which is the capital of Jamaica.

The second to last day in Jamaica we were at the hotel and one of our tour guides pointed out a marijuana plant right on the hotels property, it was a nice plant. Anywho, my trip to Jamaica was a blast and I hope to go again soon.
