Blog Entry 3 of 3 mywifemademedoit
Welcome to my blog! My name is Darrin Robertson. I am a chiropractor and father to two wonderful boys. I've started a blog because my wife made me! She and I have both committed to living a more holistic lifestyle, and we are using our blogs to monitor and document our progress. Somewhat a self-evaluation I guess. Although I'm in a health industry, I discover daily that some of my decisions are not healthy. I'm blogging to share my new decisions that are creating a more holistic or healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.

How serious are you about Scrabble?
Contributed by: Dr. Darrin Robertson, D.C.   on 4/26/2007

I've played Scrabble with friends who get downright agitated if you put the word "if" or "no" on the Scrabble board. They are VERY serious about their Scrabble.

My wife and I play with our eight year old who does amazingly well at this game. We do strive to avoid two letter words and we can get a bit competitive - currently my wife is the reigning champion!

Family game night is a great alternative to watching TV. Did you forget TV Turnoff Week is THIS WEEK? I'm here to remind you :) So, pull a game off the shelf and get started. We try to play a game together once a week. Once you start this family tradition there's no turning back. Your children will remind you because they LOVE it...even better than TV!

I love Scrabble! Quite possibly my favorite game in the whole world. I love playing it with my mom because she gives me a run for my money. Wins with words like equality and tendonitis.
