Blog Entry 1 of 32 Into the hills
I started working at YourHub.com in October of 2005. Lucky for me I actually live in the area I cover for YourHub.com, which makes me feel a little more in touch with my community and I hope to tell you what that is like and get some feedback. I’ll also let you know what’s going on with me and share some observations about whatever’s on my mind. I might also throw in a book review here or there, although I doubt it will be anything too earth shattering. My hope is to find some other reviewers out there, for books, restaurants, entertainment, etc... Enjoy!

It's Friday...Hi Kevin

It's friday here at YourHub.com. I enjoy Fridays. Not only is the weekend just around the corner, but a little bit of excitement looms in the air. The mornings are pretty calm, and then around 11 a.m., things start to pick up. We listen intently as our community editor calls out the number of pages we will have for our next print edition. Today was extra exciting, as usually the Ken Caryl edition is the "runt of the litter" and only has16 pages. Not this week. We have 20. Looks like I'll have to kick it to high gear and put out a few more pages.

I'm up to the challenge...I say bring it on!

So, we'll finish mapping out our pages (meaning listing everything that will go on each individual page). Then we will have a meeting where our editor and our community editor will approve it and then the fun begins...designing the pages. We have until 2 p.m. on Tuesday. I'll keep you updated...I'm not worried. Are you?

I would just like to say hi to Kevin Murcray. Your blogs are great. I hope they keep coming for a long time. You finally have a fellow blogger on Ken Caryl!
