Into the hills
I started working at YourHub.com in October of 2005. Lucky for me I actually live in the area I cover for YourHub.com, which makes me feel a little more in touch with my community and I hope to tell you what that is like and get some feedback. I’ll also let you know what’s going on with me and share some observations about whatever’s on my mind. I might also throw in a book review here or there, although I doubt it will be anything too earth shattering. My hope is to find some other reviewers out there, for books, restaurants, entertainment, etc... Enjoy!

I am looking for some Ken-Caryl Metro District residents who would like to voice their opinion on YourHub.com about the defeat of ballot issue 5A and what is happening now.
I know The Ken-Caryl Metro District is now having to make some decisions money wise - possibly having to cut some services and/or increase user fees. What have you heard? What do you think is the best way to handle the situation? Will your neighborhood be affected? Has it been affected?
The KCRMD Board recently authorized to put a 2.5 property tax mill-levy increase question on the ballot on May 6. If passed, the increase would begin in 2009. What do you thing about having this question on the ballot?
Please let us know. You can

Yes, very happy to know Ballot Issue 5A will be back! With more informed voters, I think it will pass wholeheartedly this time. If nothing else, residents now realize that the amenities that Ken Caryl has to offer set us apart in this scary real estate market. Even if you don't use the amenities anymore, think about your investment. Vote "YES"! Tracy Soukup
