Family Hike to the East Canyon Preservation Area

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Join Volunteer Naturalists Mike and Sonia Zipparo for a family-paced hike to the newest addition to Castlewood Canyon, the East Canyon Preservation Area. This area is in its natural state more than most other areas of the park, and to sustain this character is subject to special rules and regulations, including no pets and no off trail hiking. The terrain is uneven and not suited for a stroller, so plan for kids to hike or be carried for the 3 to 4 mile round trip hike. Please register ahead of time, as group size is limited to 10 people. Meeting place is at the Visitor Center.
