In support of Littleton Sunrise Rotary and Western Welcome Week, a 5K, 10K Run and Family Fun Walk will be taking place along the beautiful Platte River in the heart of Littletonon Sunday August 17th.This incredible course passes the Renowned Grave site of Alferd Packer, one of Littleton 's most notoriously misunderstood historical figures. The Family Fun Walk begins at Riverfront Event Center and will journey to the gravesite where you just might see Alferd himself.

Kids will earn prizes for bringing back a 'bone" from the gravesite as they participate in the Family Fun Walk.

Post race activities include refreshments, awards and information stations. These exhibits presented by RMS Water for People and Littleton Sunrise Rotary will highlight projects that support the development of sources for clean water around the world. A water taste test will be presented by the American Society of Civil Engineers ( ASCE), as part of their "Liquid Assets" outreach .Community members who do not wish to participate in the either the race or the walk are welcome to come view the exhibits at no charge.
