Description:
The
Littleton Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jurgen de Lemos, Music Director, presents INSPIRED BY THE HOLIDAY SEASON, a seasonal concert on Friday and Saturday evenings,
December 11 and 12, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the LittletonUnited Methodist Church. The church is located at5894 South Datura Street in Littleton, one mile west of South Broadway and one block south of Littleton Boulevard.
This concert will feature three of the Young Voices of Colorado Children's Choirs, Jena Dickey, director, performing several holiday favorites with the orchestra. The Young Voices Choirs have collaborated with dozens of musical groups both nationally and internationally and have performed at
Carnegie HallinNew York. The program will open with Tchaikovsky's Hanukahand '
Twas the Night Before Christmaswith narration, and Messiaen's Praise to the Eternity of Jesus, featuring Jurgen de Lemos on cello.Please join us for a heart-warming and inspiring evening of seasonal music!
