Lead Climbing Weekend for Women

What:	This weekend is designed for experienced climbers who are ready to start lead climbing but want more skills and a confidence boost before getting on the "sharp end." You'll explore effective gear placement, learn about maximizing safety and then try "mock-leads" with a top-rope back-up. This course focuses on trad climbing, but principles apply to sport climbing as well. Top Rope Anchor Weekend or experience with setting anchors is recommended as a foundation for this course. Offered by The Women's Wilderness Institute. Enroll online at womenswilderness.org or call 303.938.9191. The cost for this course is $185 and includes all food and necessary equipment.
Where:	Boulder Area
When:	8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Event Dates:	This event takes place every Saturday, and Sunday from 8/2/08 through 8/3/2008.
