Beginning Youth Horsemanship

South Suburban Parks and Recreation invites beginners ages 8-14 to Stockton's Plum Creek Stables, 7479 W Titan Rd., on Tues-Fri, Sep 2-5, from 4:30-6:30 pm for a horsemanship introduction class emphasizing communication, grooming and handling skills with daily demonstrations and hands-on practice in bareback riding, saddling, bridling and introduction of rein use.
