Heritage Latin students excelled on the National Latin Exam. This standardized test was given to Latin students across the region.
Magistra
Catherine Bratton took great pride in their results with Heritage students scoring better than the average for the nation. Latin 1 students
Cheyanne Wilson, Gaines Adams and
Nicholas Marshall earned the Magna Cum Laude award. From Latin II,
Matthew Sasaki earned the Silver Maxima Cum Laude award and
Yeuh-Ya Hsu earned the Cum Laude award. Two other students placed in the Latin III and the Latin Poetry categories.
All of these students will receive silver medals for their awards which will be presented at the end of the year Latin banquet with their families present. The Heritage motto certainly applies to these Latin students, they are primus inter pares -
first among equals.
