Alpine Buick Pontiac GMC owner named Woman of Distinction


(October 8, 2009) At a dinner Wednesday, October 7, Ivette Dominguez, owner of Alpine Buick Pontiac GMC, was inducted into the esteemed Women of Distinction program of the Girl Scouts of Colorado, Denver Service Center. Dominguez joined the stage with the 20 honorees for 2009, selected by their peers and chosen based on their contributions to the community, both professionally and personally. The Women of Distinction commit to supporting the Girl Scout organization and serving Girl Scouts today.

The Women of Distinction is widely regarded as the one of Denver's premier philanthropic programs, bringing together a group of women who are dedicated to raising funds to support programs for at-risk girls who desperately need the positive influence of Girl Scouts. To date 348 women have been named to this esteemed honor.

Dominguez, who purchased Alpine Buick Pontiac GMC in 2005, was recognized for her efforts to employ and mentor women and for her significant community involvement. In addition to running her business Dominguez gives back through work with the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Children's Miracle Network and Children's Hospital Courage Classic.
