You Can Make A Difference
Contributed by: Patricia Klocker on 11/1/2005

The sixth-grade Girl Scout Troop 1509 is conducting a turkey drive during early November.  These dedicated girls want to do a good service project and with the help of Falcon Bluffs Middle School, will be collect as many turkeys as they can through November 18.  Their goal is collect at least 200 gobblers, frozen and packaged, of course.

All the turkeys collected will be donated to the Jeffco Action Center and the Denver Rescue Mission.  Troop 1509 will also take cash donations, which will be forwarded to either of these two organizations.  Donations will be taken before and after school, between 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and again at 3 to 3:15 p.m.

So, come by the school cafeteria during the mentioned times and there will be an area, where your turkey or money donation will be accepted.   Falcon Bluffs Middle School is located at 8449 South Garrison Street, Littleton, CO.
