Highlands Ranch Golf Course will be the site of the annual Golf Classic for Lutheran Family Services (LFS) on Aug. 14, beginning at 7:30 a.m. This year marks the 60 th Anniversary for LFS (www.lfsco.org), a multi-faceted social services agency serving more than 16,000 vulnerable people each year throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
The LFS Golf Classic is designed to help support the programs of Pregnancy Counseling, Foster Care, Adoption, Disaster Response, Refugee & Asylee Services and Care Management Solutions that are part of Lutheran Family Services.
The LFS Annual Golf Classic has a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start and registration includes breakfast, golf and luncheon. Individual golfers are $175 and sponsorships are available ranging from $500 to $10,000. Prizes will be awarded for winning teams and individual contests. "Supporters of LFS are going to have an amazing day of golf at this championship course designed by Hale Irwin, a Colorado native who is a three-time U.S. Open Champion and player on the PGA Senior Tour, and they also have the opportunity to help vulnerable kids and families!" says
Jim Barclay, president/CEO of Lutheran Family Services of Colorado.
