"HEAR THE MUSIC"
A Musical Benefit for Debby Whatley's Hearing
Enjoy hearing your favorite music? Ever thought about life without hearing? Now you can join some of Colorado's favorite bands and make a difference in someone's hearing ability. Gordon Close, found of Elite Sound, said recently, "We have been working for many years with Glen Whatley, owner of the M.A.R.S musical equipment repair shop at our store in Sheridan. His wife, Debby, provides all of the bookkeeping for his business, and was recently diagnosed with sudden loss of hearing. We are looking forward to many friends, families, customers and associates of Elite Sound and M.A.R.S to join us for this delightful fund-raising event on Friday evening, Sep 19, at Red & Jerry's"
Debby is now eligible for a Cochlear implant and needs to raise a portion of the needed funds for her to qualify for this life-changing hearing device. Debby said, "My entire family is full of musicians - I enjoy working with musicians - and now I want to be able to be a part of this entire musical scene again. I don't want to miss out on all of that. I look forward to hearing again."
Join us at Red & Jerry's club at 1840 W. Oxford at south Santa Fe on Friday evening, September 19 for
"Hear The Music" - a great variety of music. Starting at 6:30pm - featured bands from local high schools will begin this one-of-a-kind benefit event - including the Littleton High School Jazz Band and the Littleton High School Quintet. Then everyone gets to rock with two of Colorado's audience-favorite bands - "Ricky and The Radios" and "The Classix". Also, rumors have it that there will be more "surprise" musical guests for everyone's pleasure.
No cover - 100% of donations will be provided to Debby Whatley.
