Spook Splash returns to Lilley Gulch
Contributed by: Tamra McBride on 10/14/2005

The Spook Splash Halloween Carnival returns to its Lilley Gulch haunts on Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The celebration includes an open swim in the indoor pool, haunted house, mask making, coloring contest, carnival games, inflatable jump houses and balloon sculpting by The Balloon Diva.
There will also be concessions available from Robert’s Italian Deli. All children will receive a goodie bag with candy and tickets for various events. Admission is $6 for youth. Adults 18 and older are free. The Lilley Gulch Recreation Center is located at 6147 S. Holland Way in Littleton.

“This event is always so much fun. And not just for the kids, but for everyone involved,” said Deirdre Russell, recreation assistant specialist with the district. The Lilley Gulch Gymnastics Center will metamorphose into a haunted house. Quickly becoming a Spook Splash favorite, the haunted house will have its lights on for younger children until 7:15 p.m. Then it’s lights out for older kids to make their way through the maze of spook-filled halls. For more information on Spook Splash, call Deirdre at 303-409-2558 or visit www.ifoothills.org.

Foothills would like to thank its generous Spook Splash sponsors who help make it such a fun and successful event: CEM Sales and Service, First Bank, Country Buffet and Wal-Mart.
