The Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum and the Littleton Historical Museum's annual Holiday's Eveningwill be held on Sunday, December 10, 5:30-8:00 p.m. Join the Friends for one of the museum's most popular events.
The gentle glow of "luminarias" and the crackle of bonfires will call as you wander the grounds and light the way to wagon rides, carolers, and music reminiscent of times gone by. Gingerbread cookies, corn bread, hot cider, and nostalgia will warm you. Remember December evenings can be crisp and Holiday's Evening is an all outdoors event, dress appropriately.
The 1860's Farm will be decorated for the holidays in the 1860's tradition. Interpreters will be dressed in costume and will portray life during Littleton's early history. The mules will have their bells on and ready for wagon rides.
The 1890's Farm will also be decorated in the appropriate style of that period with entertainment in the farmhouse. Santa will be listening to children's wishes.
