Glassner chosen for All-Academic RMAC team

Former Chatfield High School student athlete, Kerri Glassner was among 77 student-athletes from Colorado State University named to the spring 2006 All-Mountain West Conference team. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.

Track and Field led the way for the Rams with the women earning 25 selections and the men adding 20. Swimming and Diving earned 12 selections, followed by six from the softball team, four from women's basketball and three each from women's golf and tennis. Rounding out the list were the men's basketball team and men's golf team with two players selected.

Glassner went to Chatfield High School where she earned four varsity letters in swimming. She holds school record in the 100-meter breaststroke and was team MVP (2002-2003). She was 5A Jefferson County MVP and helped lead the Chargers to four city championships and state championships between 2002-2005. She was team captain in 2005and earned all-academic honors in 2005. Glassner was Valedictorian and member of honor role with a 4.0 GPA. She also swam for Greenwood Tiger Sharks club team.
