Don Ruscio is volunteer of the month at McLain HS

Don Ruscio, of Littleton, has been a volunteer math tutor at McLain since 1998. A retired Martin-Marietta engineer with an MBA from the University of Colorado, Don has taught business courses part-time at CU’s Graduate School and Metro State College.

At McLain he is the tutor for a small group of ESL students studying basic math skills for daily living and for their academic progress. He has also tutored one-on-one and has given generously of his time, never refusing even the most difficult assignments.

Don also volunteers his time to Artreach and the Visiting Nurse Association. He is married and has a stepdaughter.

Thank you, Don, for contributing your skills to help McLain students for the past eight years. The staff and students are grateful to you for your help, and we salute you as our Volunteer of the Month for February.

McLain Community High School is located at 13600 W. Second Place in Lakewood.
