Several hundred shoppers made it out to the Southwest Farmers' Market in Littleton on July 5.

The market, which is held in the parking lot of the Southwest Plaza Mall, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., features a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other delicacies. It's open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday.

This particular Saturday, however, featured a rather unwelcome guest. Strong gusts of wind forced several of the vendors to pack it up a little early.
