Contributed by: Arapahoe County Sheriff on 12/7/2007

On December 7, 2007, at approximately 02:17 AM, Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office deputies were notified of a carjacking/aggravated robbery that had just occurred on the northbound on-ramp to I-25 from Dry Creek Road. Two Hispanic males with machine guns exited their vehicle, yelled "get down on the ground", stole their wallets and assaulted them. Two more Hispanic males opened the car doors and ordered the driver out of the vehicle at gunpoint. The suspects then drove off with the driver's vehicle, which is a 1992 maroon Chevy Caprice with chrome wheels and carries license plate #687-IYE.

The victims also stated that there was a 9mm Desert Eagle handgun in the glove box of the stolen vehicle.
